WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE

・Confident and clear communication on English and Japanese both written and verbal
・University degree (Logistics, Economics, Business Administration or related) or 3 years’ experience in the area of expertise
・Retail/home furnishing/supply chain/customer service experience and interest
・Market and industry intelligence: applies market and industry knowledge to achieve organisational goals and objectives; understand market specifics when making decisions
・Excellent computer skills and high proficiency on Microsoft Office
・Proven analytical and numeric skills and ability to identify required actions
・Experience in problem solving and improving ways of working
・Stakeholder management: knowledge of how to identify and involve relevant stakeholders in a project, process or question to make things happen
・Supplier relationship management: strong knowledge of working with and developing external partners’ overtime. Strong knowledge on how to develop service provider relationships. Create and execute long-term development roadmaps.
・Financial competence and understanding of the financial impact on total network

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

・Support sourcing activities, purchase execution activities, projects and initiatives that are connected to the business growth plan.
・Perform cost calculations, cost development scenarios, risk analysis and scenario planning in all phases of the sourcing process to support fact based decisions.
・Collect and analyze market performance, industry intelligence, customer insights, sourcing scenarios to find optimal set up to improve customer experience and cost reduction.
・Follow up, evaluation on the sourcing initiatives to secure that intended results are delivered. Provide support to act on deviations (calculations, business cases etc)
・Responsible for sourcing tools as a super user
・Responsible for administration of all contracts on the market.
・Responsible for collection of data on and analysis of market performance, market supply/demand/capacity estimations, value chain performance and customer feedback and proactively use of insights gained to contribute to sourcing decisions to improve customer experience.
・Contribute with both knowledge and expertise to optimal operational and multichannel development, related business- and process forums, sourcing activities as well as to all matrices, global and market initiatives and competence networks.
・Responsible for considering the parameters connected to the Customer Fulfilment sustainability agenda in the market and industry intelligence research process across all touchpoints.

Implement, assess standards, guidelines and policies within the own area of expertise and contribute to their development and update.
Superuser for CSO and other digital sourcing tools.
