For this role we believe you have a bachelor or master’s degree in Accounting / Finance / Economics
or a related field combined with 10+ years of increased responsibility in business steering or finance related field and 5+ years as a manager with experience in larger international structure.

When it comes to knowledge and experience, you have:
- Broad experience in business performance and financial asset management.
- Extensive exposure to Corporate Finance, Accounting, Asset management and valuation concepts.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in one or several of the relevant industries: Financial markets, Energy, Forestland, Real Estate, Venture capital.
- Extensive knowledge of asset management lifecycle (how to operate, control and oversee Ingka Investments’ businesses to ensure their useful life and performance), strategic asset allocation, Transaction (merger and acquisitions), financial controlling and reporting processes, risk management.
- Thorough knowledge of valuation (modelling) of financial and tangible assets.

In addition, you have experience as a leader in large international structures, strong ability to prioritize, provide clear directions and multitask as well as the ability to communicate confidently and clearly in English. You have a good understanding of data science, new technologies, analytics and their wide-ranging application in business context.

You are a dedicated team player, a strong communicator, you take initiative and have a high drive
and motivation with a positive attitude, you are curious and open for a continuously changing
environment with many different stakeholders and demands. You take ownership of your deliverables.

The Financial Controlling/Business Navigation Manager is a trustworthy business partner who takes a multi-dimensional view to steer the business. The role concentrates on long term profitability, while being focused on delivering a strong performance every day. The role connects the needs of the Ingka Investments Management Team, the decision-making forums and the organization, with a complete overview of the profit & loss, the balance sheet and cash flow management.

The Business Navigation Manager leads (matrix) the Ingka Investments Business Navigators of Ingka Investments in the markets and centrally.

More specifically, this means you will:

• Lead & develop the Business Navigation team centrally and in the markets, securing Business Navigation competence within the function as well as spreading it to the rest of the organisation.
• Project and secure the long-term financial development in portfolios, connecting the operational business performance and long-term value creation to the objectives of the Ingka Investments Direction, portfolios strategies and identified business opportunities.
• Engage and communicate the performance and value creation activities of Ingka Investments to a wide spectrum of internal stakeholders.
• Drive and co-ordinate the financial business planning, ensuring that the financial plan is aligned with the business plan priorities in Ingka Investments while involving and creating commitment among stakeholders on performance management and goal setting.
• Drive and co-ordinate the business performance follow-up and forecasting process in the portfolios, in line with the global business navigation year cycle and in close co-operation with the key stakeholders (e.g.: Portfolio managers, country managers, Operation and Sales managers, etc…).
• Provide fast reactions to performance deviations to maximise the business performance by securing a documented and anchored way of working with scenario planning and scenario implementation.
• Navigate towards more effective and cost-conscious ways of working, identifying growth and cost potentials through analysis and providing insights, benchmarking, striving for constant improvements and closing of the performance gaps identified.
• Navigate towards a good return on investment by ensuring the use of high-quality business cases to identify and evaluate business opportunities, in our investment portfolio.
• Provide insights and the impact from market trends on the operational performance and valuations of Ingka Investments’ assets under management.
