The task of IKEA Components within IKEA is to pursue the development of future unique and customer-friendly solutions within fittings and components to the IKEA range. We create substantial cost and quality benefits for IKEA in our development and supply of raw materials, components and fittings. IKEA Components is part of the Inter IKEA group and shares the IKEA vision and values. Our business is global and employs 1500 people based in Sweden, Slovakia and China. Through co-operation with IKEA Purchasing and Logistic areas, we are also represented at several other sites around the world.
Perform machine assembly and installation of machines by follow the assembling schedules/project plans.
Initiate development of new technical solutions and innovations for packaging, production and packaging technique.
Implementing more efficient solutions on existing machinery.
Support team development cross function approach (technical knowledge experience).
Securing fulfilment of goals, projects and action plans.
Improve design for machines and equipments in the area of projects.
Secure start up of installed machine/ equipment and train, develop and support P&D co-workers in how to utilize the machine and equipment to meet the goals defined.
Cooperation and communication with IKEA Components PSEE in terms of machine and equipment development, quality demand
Have a close cooperation with our machine suppliers to secure smooth implementation phase and secure after sales collabroation.
Support in documentations of maintenance plans.
Analyse maintenance reports and take actions accordingly to minimize downtimes.
• Deep knowledge in teqnuiqe and machinery for packaging. • Good knowledge about mechanical assembly. • Good knowledge about electric connections/pneumatic. • Good knowledge about computer systems and networks. • Experience in construction (welding etc). • Fluent in both spoken and written English.
