About the job
We are looking for a proactive enthusiast who drives data quality standards and shares our overall vision of “creating a better everyday life for the many people”. As a Data Quality Specialist, you take on regional responsibilities, striving to deliver high quality data products focusing on the following key responsibilities.
Act as a data quality ambassador as part of our data development team, ensuring data accuracy for all our data products.
Develop data quality indicators, leveraging on industry standards and best practices, to be able to measure data quality and accuracy at any point in time.
Implement data quality reports that visualize data quality indicators for all data products.
Create and maintain a data quality rule repository and translate these rules into data quality scripts that can be automated or run manually.
Document data quality rules, indicators, reports and scripts.
Collaborate with data engineers, business analysts, super users to support user acceptance testing (UAT) for data products with test cases and test scripts.
Support user stories for new requirements with test cases and test automation.
As a Data Quality Specialist, we are looking for a potential candidate who can motivate & drive the business to a greater height with knowledge, skills & experience that match the needs of the job.
A digital native, passionate about data products and data quality, with user experience and user confidence in our products on top of mind.
Excellent understanding of data quality criteria and its importance for the success of data products, this through having at least three years of data quality experience in a previous related role.
Deep understanding of how data quality metrics can contribute to product development, as well as end user acceptance and confidence in the product.
You are curious, meticulous, flexible with a positive attitude and equipped with strong problem solving and communication skills.
Familiar with data visualisation tools, specifically QlikView or Qlik Sense experience is a plus.
Excellent analytical and planning skills, with a drive for results and optimization.
High proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
