What will be your role:
Leading IKEA Food’s team and working with the store's management team, to ensure that visitors are attracted, achieving sales growth and reasonable profitability, ensuring customer and co-worker satisfaction and obtaining excellent operational performance.
What you will be doing:
Create awareness of IKEA Food as the most important in-store marketing tool to maximize the sales potential of the IKEA store and attract more visitors
Implement the product range matrix (national and international) to ensure that the IKEA Food range has a strong identity that distinguishes the IKEA store from our competitors in the market.
To ensure that our visitors always receive the best attention. Listen to and support visitors with an attitude based on IKEA values.
Ensure that efficient inventory, cost control and order generation routines are in place.
Manage IKEA Food areas in compliance with legislation and IKEA food safety and quality requirements. Foster a culture where "safety comes first" and employees are encouraged to talk and discuss their concerns and solutions. Co-operate with authorities and external service providers when necessary.
Ensuring a relevant IKEA Food offer by combining and driving range presentation, volume and commercial priorities.
Steering IKEA Food as a fully integrated part of the IKEA Concept in close co-operation with other functions.
Maximising commerciality in order to grow sales and convert visitors into customers. You exploit everyday opportunities to maximise growth.
What do you need for apply:
University degree according to position.
Previous management experience in a high-volume retail environment or in the food service chain industry.
Budget management (forecasting, goal setting, return on investment, profit and loss).
An understanding of our local markets, including our customers and the strengths and weaknesses of our local competition.
Knowledge of rules and regulations regarding food handling.
Experience in customer service.
Fluent in English both written and spoken.
