In this role you have at least 5-10 years of progressive and diverse experience in data science and – analytics. Minimum of 5-10 years of progressive and diverse experience in digital product development is also needed. You have demonstrable experience in working in an Agile or DevOps working set-up. You have Strong business acumen and a strategic & commercial mind-set. You have hands-on experience with the Chinese Digital landscape. We think you also have proven advanced training in information technology, computer science, mathematics or equivalent. With strong documented leadership and people development skills, you have the ability to lead a cross-functional team through influence. Experience in retail and/or eCommerce as a management role with a similar team size and impact is preferred. Knowledge of IKEA Brand, culture, values and way of working is preferred.
You have knowledge in following areas:
• Knowledge of the technology landscape in ecommerce, digital channels and retail particularly in technology that is relevant to their product area • Deep understanding of the application of advanced analytics and data analytics in addressing and answering business questions • Knowledge of machine learning and other developments in the fast moving data technology landscape • Intermediate knowledge of changing digital trends in order to understand potential innovative solutions that meet customer needs • Experience with DevOps and agile development practices, in which requirements and solutions evolve through the collaborative effort of self-organizing cross-functional teams. • Experience of UI/UX design across multiple digital channels web and mobile • Knowledge of IKEAs corporate identity, core values and vision of creating a better everyday life for the many people
We believe that you are able to demonstrate a combination of a technical engineering knowledge and an effective people manager. You have intermediate UX/UI design skills including wireframes, information architecture, customer journey mapping. You have the ability to communicate actionable analytical findings to a non-technical and business audience in clear and concise language. You are able to frame a business issue, design the right solution, and deliver results. You understand the complexity of IKEA business and the role of advanced analytics as an integrated part of the business.
As a Country Digital Data & Product Manager, you will prioritize, coordinate and manage the development and deployment of innovative digital products as well as ensuring that the development stay aligned with the set out business goals and KPI benefits. You will continuously drive the value creation from data- and predictive analytics and the delivery of these solutions towards IKEA’s capability areas.
You will work collaboratively with other Product Owners and Managers to actively manage the digital product backlog as well as working with chapter leads to ensure sufficient resources and functional expertise in the agile team.
• Actively manage the digital product backlog including clearly expressing product backlog items and prioritizing items based on business goals and optimization of work in the agile team • Involvement in sprint planning meetings to help provide clarity and elaborate features and user stories to help the team better understand the requirements and how success will be measured • Where needed work with customers to understand and qualify their needs and requirements, ensuring they are included and integrated into the product as needed • Identify and drive digital initiatives that positively impact user experience, loyalty and increase conversion • Proactively contribute in direction & design discussions to ensure all activities within data acquisition, data processing and data storage happen according to the organizations policies, domestic laws and regulations • Proactively contribute in strategy & design discussions to ensure the right data analytics is implemented to meet the requirements of the capability areas on both short- and long term • Actively push for improvement of data driven insights, driving effectiveness and efficiency in Data & Analytics, fit for the rapidly changing data science landscape • Act as a subject matter expert for Product teams, providing insight, context and additional information as needed to help understanding of what is required • Engage with Chapter Leads regarding resources and functional expertise required in the agile team • Responsible for ensuring sufficient resources, people and expertise for the Country Digital Data & Product functions
