WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE

'- Knowledge of retail/expansion business operations and how to make things happen
- Know trends in retailing and expansion possibilities (integrating with local consumer trends and leading market expansion insights especially omni)
- Knowledge of IKEAs corporate identity, core values and vision of creating a better everyday life for the many people
- Knowledge of how IKEA designs, produces, sells and delivers goods and services that improve the everyday life of the many people
- Knowledge of how to create and implement change initiatives and manage stakeholders in IKEA
- Knowledge of the IKEA omni channel shopping experience
- Knowledge of how to set direction, create and manage long-term goals and plans and follow up on KPIs

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

'- Responsible for the retail country expansion plan, including optimized ecosystems of Customer Meeting Points (CMP) (online and offline) and Centers to reach the many people in the retail country
- Responsible for initiating needs for Market Penetration Development program (MPD) and development of CMPs
- Responsible to maximize accessibility and to implement our retailing concepts at lowest cost, with economy of scale and profitability in the retail country
- Responsible to apply decided and developed processes and working methods applied in the Expansion matrix
- Responsible to enable and follow-up on the delivery on decided expansion plan in the retail country
- Accountable and responsible for selecting final CMP site
- Accountable and responsible for the Investment Requests (IR)
- Lead and manage the Expansion function in the retail country, securing a competent and high-performing team by attracting, developing and retaining talent. Set budgets and goals for team members and performance follow-up.
- Enable team members to share best practices with and across the organization
- Lead positive change, and contribute to building a more unique, inclusive and accessible IKEA - guided by the People and Planet Positive commitments
- Take lead in driving an open and sharing climate, being a role model of the IKEA values where our co-workers are informed, engaged and empowered
