In this role you have proven advanced training in engineering, computer science,
econometrics, mathematics or equivalent. You have Minimum of 4 years of progressive and diverse experience in data science and – analytics. You have also expert knowledge in in applications of advanced analytics and data analytics. In addition, you are confident in digging into code and understanding how things are working. You have demonstrable experience in working in an Agile or DevOps working set-up. You are also Hands-on experience with the Chinese Digital landscape.

You have knowledge in following areas:
? Extensive knowledge of patterns and archetypes for different types of data
architectures e.g. streaming, IOT, big data analysis

? Knowledge of the standard patterns and services of the cloud offerings on Alibaba
and other relevant companies

? Knowledge and understanding of building and maintaining a successful data
governance framework in line with data (privacy) regulations

? Knowledge on data governance reporting, including data quality measurement,
risks and compliance

? Knowledge on the possibilities and restrictions of architecture solutions to develop
a feasible architecture design

? Experience with DevOps and agile development practices, in which requirements
and products evolve through the collaborative effort of self-organizing cross functional teams

? Knowledge of IKEAs corporate identity, core values and vision of creating a better
everyday life for the many people

We believe that you are able to capture, interpret and translate data regulation policies and laws into terms of data architecture, database technology and data model design requirements. You are able to work with large amounts of raw data and confident in working with different database solutions. You have the ability to capture, interpret and translate business requirements in terms of information, data and technical architecture, database technology and data model design. Ability to lead, coach, motivate and develop team members. Ability to understand the complexity of IKEA business and the role of technology as an integrated part of the business.


As The Chapter Lead you will translate the business operating model into reliable and robust data architecture structures, enabling deployment of the right data modelling tools, techniques and methodologies that will support the IKEA business whilst ensure awareness and fulfilling ongoing adherence to the data governance policies.

You will:

? Responsible for the translation of the business operating model and business
requirements into information- and data architecture solutions, including
conceptual, logical and physical models

? Responsible for the strategy, design and development of data architecture
solutions, formalising the metadata descriptions and capture methods, registries
and workflow

? Responsible for staying up to date on emerging and leading practices of data
architecture as well as driving development and shaping the industry, ensuring
INGKA applies best practice

? Independently accountable for building and maintaining one or more data
architecture solutions on the framework

? Regularly review the effectiveness of existing architectures and come up with

? Analyse and define master data management strategies and models to diminish
architectural risks and propose alternatives to improve the overall integrity of the
data architecture

? Proactively contribute in development and implementation of an end-to-end data
governance framework, including policies, guidelines and ways of working, to
support good data quality and ensure a secure data management environment

? Proactively contribute in direction & design discussions to ensure all activities
within data acquisition, data processing and data storage happen according to the
organizations policies, domestic laws and regulations

? In close cooperation with Product Managers and People & Culture, hire new co-workers for the chapter when capability areas express need for people

? To serve as the lead for the data architect chapter, including ensuring appropriate HR support and that trainings are held, developing criteria for skill assessing chapter members as well as to lead, coach and develop the chapter member
