Lead and execute the Experience Design Operations(XDOps) strategies and approaches across Ingka and Inter-IKEA Systems.

Work to optimize the efficiency and output of the design processes and to keep alignment with the business goals.

Work to broaden the overall design maturity and the establishing of a design process through the product development lifecycle.

• Intermediate knowledge of executing all aspects of Global Digital Experience Design Ops

• Intermediate knowledge of changing digital trends in order to understand potential innovative solutions that meet human needs

• Intermediate knowledge of driving Centre of Expertise (CoE) approaches within a team • Intermediate knowledge of working in a highly collaborative CoE team and partnering with business, product, tech, and data co-workers

• Intermediate knowledge in driving human-centred design methods and approaches into a team

• Intermediate knowledge of measuring the business value of design

• Good knowledge of IKEAs corporate identity, core values and vision of creating a better everyday life for the many people

• Broad understanding of the complexity of IKEA business and the role of Digital Experience Design and Digital as an integrated part of the business

• Strong emotional intelligence and empathy combined with ability to be the voice of our customers and co-workers

• Good written and verbal communication and storytelling skills

• Strong facilitation skills with the ability to lead varied audiences through complex topics

• Abililty to set, inspire and drive towards a future vision

• Ability to priorities and make decisions in a complex, fast-paced environment

• Interpersonal skills with the ability to build trustful relationships

• Formal qualifications in related field (e.g. Bachelor's Degree) or equivalent

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Design Ops, Program Management, Operations or equivalent roles

• Minimum 2 years of experience working in large, complex organisations focused on connecting design to business performance

• A strong Design Ops portfolio demonstrating a breadth of knowledge of various DXD planning, delivery, maturity and growth capabilities


• Drive and implement the XDOps strategy across Ingka for the full DXD team in order to deliver excellent and unique IKEA digital experiences across all touchpoints

• Contribute with subject matter expertise in setting the overall XDOps approaches to establish the capabilities and continually increase design maturity within Ingka

• Drive the implementation of the Digital Experience Design (DXD) process and methodology across Group Digital with the purpose to align on ways of working and drive design maturity evolution

• Provide XDOps mentorship to ensure skills development of Design Ops Specialists

• Implement the defined best practice benchmarking processes (against industry standards) to continuously validate and improve the full DXD team deliverables

• Drive and lead design program management to support a highly efficient DXD team execution

• Own and implement education initiatives for the full DXD team and other teams within Group Digital to secure continuous skills development and design maturity

• Drive the continuous identification and rollout of DXD tools to ensure that the DXD team and other teams within Group Digital have the necessary tools to effectively create and provide design solutions

• Build and enhance the internal DXD culture and community build-up by organising effective DXD team meetings, up to Global Team meetings

• Provide input and assistance in identifying and defining clear success metrics in relation to the given business goals in order to secure and deliver wished for business outcomes

• Provide subject matter expertise input to inform the Global Digital Experience vision
