WHO YOU ARE

For our new Customer Distribution Center (CDC) in Vienna, you will make a strong contribution to achieving excellent results in the daily operation of the CDC. You will lead, coach and develop a team that will prepare the goods for delivery to our customers within the agreed time.

• You have proven supervisory experience, preferable in warehouse operations or similar knowledge
• You have knowledge of health and safety laws, standards and regulations related to warehousing activities
• You have the ability to handle operational issues in a proper manner
• You have the ability to communicate effectively with people and motivate them
• You are an ambassador for the IKEA culture and values both internally and externally
• You speak fluent German and English and have good MS - Office skills
• You are resilient and flexible to work in 3 shifts

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead and develop approx. 25 co-workers within the area of responsibility and in accordance with the IKEA co-worker idea
• Implementing CDC quality activities to secure less damages and accuracy of inventory
• Analyzing workload to secure daily volume handling and meet the seasonal fluctuation needs
• Plan people based on the volume we are supposed to handle
• Leading the implementation of new working processes and secure the compliance with given concepts
• Safety of co-workers and the working conditions of the workplace and securing that IKEA rules and guidelines as well as laws and regulations are followed

Place of work: Wien-Strebersdorf, Vohburggasse
Working time: 2-shift model from 06:00-22:00 hours from Mon-Sat.

For this position, we offer a collective wage (collective agreement for employees in forwarding and warehousing companies) on the basis of full-time employment (40 hours per week, all-in) of EUR 2.638,30 gross per month. Depending on experience and qualification an overpayment is possible. Attractive social benefits are offered.
