YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES In this role you will take direct responsibility to lead a team of 8 people and interact in matrix with leaders in 29 countries and in global with several line functions as core stakeholders. First and for all Customer fulfilment; Market support; Expansion (Sisan planning and Central planning hub), Real estate – construction; Procurement, within Ingka, but also including Core Business Franchise within INTER. You will also manage, control and communicate the implementation of the 6 steps of re-designing the store from CFF perspective.
Additionally, you will:
Drive project activities as defined in the deployment scope of the project
Deliver all activities to the required quality, within the defined time and cost frames, applying relevant functional competence
Secure the implementation of best practice, drawing on good examples both from within IKEA and from the latest developments externally
Identify risks, proposing effective solutions for mitigation
Contribute high quality ideas and insight to the design of processes, tools and ways of working
Build effective relationships with stakeholders and partners
Research widely across the topic to ensure that the latest ideas and practices are considered for the project
Deliver detailed and timely analyses on the project to the relevant stakeholders, suggesting workable and effective solutions to identified issues
Track and manage dependencies and interfaces within the project and with other business activities
Maintain an effective working relationship with external vendors/service providers
Share functional expertise by supporting the design and delivery of learning and other activities to identified target groups in order to increase organizational competence
In this role you will report to the Initiative Leader Martin Fachinger, Store with fulfilment capabilities. This is a temporary assignment until the 31st of August 2022. The preferred location for the job is Wallau, but can be in major parts been performed virtually. Some travelling will be required on a limited base to deployment countries.
ABOUT THIS WORK AREA The Store with Fulfilment Capabilities Initiative is a key initiative within Job #6 and has the assignment to create and deploy a portfolio of solutions to empower existing stores with fulfilment capabilities while keeping or even increasing their customer experience in the store. This portfolio covers an end to end process of online order fulfilment in a store from Goods Receiving, to storage, picking, order preparation until outbound from stores in different solutions feasible to be used in high, medium and high cost countries.
The deployment initiative within store with fulfilment capabilities is asked to:
deploy given solutions into the markets by supporting the decision and planning process
support the right choice of locations for deployment
Coordinate the deployments with central planning hub and core business franchise
lead the initial design developments for automation solutions for stores
Contribute to apply the expansion process to the necessities of store fulfilment.
