We believe that you have a university degree in finance with relevant work experience within a multinational corporate along with proven experience and track record in negotiation skills with vendors. You also possess very good knowledge of the global payment industry as well as payment regulations.
You have knowledge in following areas:
• very good knowledge of the In-bound payment industry – Schemes, Acquirers, PSP’s, Issuing banks • good knowledge in payment types & global payment infrastructure • main standard payment solutions and alternative flexible payment options that IKEA customers can utilise across sales channels • regulatory impacts on current and future customer payment solutions • the IKEA Concept, Brand Identity and IKEA culture and values

The main aim for this role is to enable future savings and efficiencies in relation to incoming payment instruments. You are going to be first entry point for schemes and acquirers and PSP’s. You will also monitor, benchmark and steer incoming payments cost, e.g. cost for acquiring.
You will: • use business intelligence to provide insights and potential savings in relations to payments and payment usage • propose and drive change internally to enable future savings and efficiencies in relation to Payment instruments • ensure that benefits from potential economies of scale in terms of acquiring and payment service providers are safeguarded and addressed accordingly • provide focus on all issues relating to INGKAs business interests regarding payment instruments in matters involving politicians, policymakers, regulators, and government departments and agencies • lead the group payment standardisation goals • access the market practice and benchmark internal payment approach with other multinational players • onboard, maintain and document cards, payment business and market knowledge • revaluate the acquiring set-up considering a changing regulatory environment in accordance with internal needs
